Tribute
On Monday April 12, 2010, Mrs. Pauline Wignall of Oliver passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Sunnybank Centre at the age of 85 years.
She was predeceased by her father Charles in 1959; mother Ruth in 1977 and siblings Helen, Ruth, Louise, Margarite, Charles, George and Emily.
Pauline will be fondly remembered by her loving family including husband Cyril Wignall of Oliver; daughter Joan (Blaine) Nunweiler of Oliver; Daughter Bonnie Candianides of Portland, Oregon; son Randy (Venessa) Dixon of Osoyoos; son Ray Dixon of Kelowna; daughter Denise Dixon of Oliver; grandchildren Brent (Rae) Redenbach of Okanagan Falls, Jana Candianides of Portland, Oregon, Kasseane Candianides of Portland, Oregon and Jordan Candianides of Portland, Oregon; great-grandchild Chloe Redenbach of Okanagan Falls as well as her sister Mrs. Elizabeth Martin of Cherhill, Alberta.
Pauline was born on August 5, 1924 in Cherhill, Alberta. She went on to study at the Chicago School of Nursing and became a Practical Nurse. Pauline loved gardening, knitting, crochet work and will be missed by all who knew her.
