Nunes-Pottinger Funeral Service Staff send our condolences to family and friends.

From: Kay Olson
Relation: I used to work for him in Brock.

I worked for Dr. Ritchie in Brock – many years ago. Doc was the best boss I ever had. He was kind to everyone, worked uncomplaining at all hours of the day or night, went to people’s homes when they couldn’t come to see him, and was absolutely a prince of a person. He will be dearly missed. Dr. Ritchie was a legend.

From: Adrienne Kingsley
Relation: Patient

My sincerest and deepest sympathies to Dr. Ritchie’s family. I remember him so well from my days growing up in Brock, Saskatchewan. He was a loved, honoured and treasured member of our community for so many years, respected and loved by all, as I recall. He will be sadly and greatly missed by everyone who loved and knew him. It seems he lived a full live, a life of giving and helping…..what great worth could a man be in this world? <3

From: Patty Brotzell-Close
Relation: He brought me into this world!

‘Doc” Ritchie was our family doctor and delivered myself and most of my 6 siblings as we were raised on a farm near Brock, Saskatchewan. My Mom thought the world of him and spoke of him fondly. My Dad (Art Brotzell, passed in 2013) was a soldier and active in the Legion which is one of the in common interests the Doc and he shared. My Mom (Jean Brotzell) passed away December 15….perhaps they will enjoy a catch-up now! My condolences on behalf of the Brotzell family.

From: Darcy Desrosiers Jessen
Relation: Brock

My mother, Faye, worked for Dr Ritchie while he was in Brock. He was highly regarded in the community. My condolences to the family.

From: Allison Sarauer
Relation: I was his patient many years ago.

Doc Ritchie delivered me and just about every other baby within miles of Brock! I was pretty little when he left but have fond memories of him and the time he spent with our family. Condolences to his family.

From: Helen McNab
Relation: Former patient, parents' friend.

My sincere sympathy to the family of Dr. Ritchie. One of my favourite Brock anecdotes owes its punchline to Dr. Ritchie’s wit.

From: Judy Dallas
Relation: Through living here for a number of years and also at Mariposa.

Dr. Ritchie was the consummate gentleman, and caring to those he visited in Mariposa. Always a kind word, a gentle pat on the shoulder, and a smile. Did not really know him otherwise, but he always acknowledged a greeting with kindness. He is now resting quietly with his lovely wife.

From: Bert Gray
