Condolences on your loss. I am in the process of finding my birth family and his brother Lyle was my father. I wish I could have found him before he passed as he could answer questions for me.

From: Ray Jacobsen
Relation: Friend and co-worker

I first met Bill in Brooks, Alberta when, as teenagers we both joined the R.C.E. militia. We got along great and it was a pleasant surprise when we had the opportunity to work together at the Kamloops RCMP Detachment some years later. Bill was always a fun guy to be around because of his sense of humour and positive attitude. He was excellent police officer because of his excellent work ethic and “streets smarts.” I never worked with Bill after 1974; however, when I reminisce about the “good old days” Bill is one of the guys that I remember very fondly. Sorry to hear of your loss Jennifer.

Hello Jennifer. Just came across this by accident. So sorry to hear about Bill. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen each other. You were living in Castlegar. Jim and I drove thru there in 2019 and went to your address but you had moved. We have friends in Osoyoos and have been there a number of times. We’re still in Langley at the same house for 43 years. Not Brookswood. We hope you and your family are doing well. We always enjoyed our times with you and Bill.

Dear Jennifer Michael Shannon and Robyn, I was thinking of you all today and something told me to look you up on-line where I came to this obituary notice of Bill. I am so sorry, it has been a very long time since we have seen each other Jennifer, however I think of you often. I have such wonderful memories of you and Bill and our friendship during the Langley Flippers Swim Club Days here in Langley. My best wishes to you and your family. If you can, and would like to contact me I would be delighted to hear from you. Love Donna Mason (Weibelzahl)
