William Bill Kidd

Tribute
On Friday November 23, 2012, Mr. William James “Bill” Kidd of Osoyoos passed away at Mariposa Gardens at the age of 82 years with his loving family by his side.
He was predeceased by his father James Kidd; his mother Emily Kidd and his sister Joan Tretick.
Bill will be missed and remembered by his loving family including wife Gail; daughter Kathy Guy (Jeff); son Daniel Kidd (Lorraine); daughter Dianne Kidd; grandchildren Melissa Crawford (Allan), Rob Guy (Christine), Colby Kidd and Sophie Kidd; great-grandchildren Audrey Guy, Gavin Crawford, Claire Guy, Elizabeth Crawford and Baby Crawford on the way. Also survived by his sister Margaret Anderson; brother Jim Kidd (Phyllis), and brother-in-law Ross Tretick.
Over the years Bill worked for General Electric, Bonar & Bemis, Rothmans and Annacis Island Auto Terminals.
Bill loved spending time with his family, golfing and travelling. He especially enjoyed the trips to Reno, Disneyland, and camping in and around 100 Mile House. Bill was active in the community and volunteered for the Osoyoos Country Club senior golf and the youth centre in Osoyoos. He also loved going to church, fishing, soccer, square dancing, curling and bowling.
A memorial service will be officiated by Pastor Ken Clarke at 1:00 P.M. Saturday December 1, 2012 at the Valley Congregational Christian Church. Urn interment and committal will follow in the VCC Rose Garden. A reception will then be held in the VCC reception hall.

I had the pleasure a few years ago of Bill’s fellowship playing many a round of golf. I wish to send my condolences to you Gail and your family. I am truly saddened to hear of his passing. If there is a golf course in heaven I believe Bill will be booking a time. John
