William Bill Soare

Tribute
On Friday November 15, 2013, Mr. William Allan (Bill) Soare of Oliver passed away peacefully at McKinney Place after a stroke and a hard fought battle with cancer at the age of 75 years.
He was predeceased by his son Rocky Allan Soare.
Bill will be fondly remembered by his loving wife Rhonda of thirty five years; son Mike Soare (Jackie); daughter Cindy Soare; stepson Tim Smith; stepdaughters Tammy Neuls and Diane Smith; grandchildren Dalton, Rochelle and Dillon Soare, Sabrina Wooley and Nicole Soare-Schmidt; step-grandchildren Ashley Neuls, Melissa Kotylak and Joey Smith; his mother Annette Matkovich; sister Lorraine Sandoval (Girardo); brother Vern Matkovitch and uncle Jim Soare (Margie).
Bill had a long career in heavy construction as an equipment operator and foreman. He worked for Chinook, Kiewit, Tergon and Minex and received many safety awards. His work and travels had him all across Canada, and some of the US. His hobbies and interests included work and more work.
